Recieved a letter from the adoption agency today. Highlights from the letter as follows:
I like to send an update every couple of months to keep you informed of the progress of the waiting list.
For baby boys, we are referring to families whose dossiers went to Ethiopia the second half of January. Ours is dated January 15th so this applies to us.
There are new babies in the nursery whose files are not yet complete. As we recieve complete files we will be referring the babies and we hope the families will make their decisions quickly as possible in hopes of getting through court before it closes, which is usually early August. At this time families recieving referrals can expect to have their child in 4 to 8 months.

Tick, tock, tick, tock...it sounds like that referral is approaching soon! We are getting very excited for you. I remember at this point waiting for Jane we both got very nervous. The inevitable around the corner made us both thing, "What are we doing??". You guys will be great! It all works out perfectly. I can't wait for you to meet Seble. It is a suprise when you meet your new child and fall in love immediately.
